Wild Wild Rice 1 ts Oil
1 c Cubed cooked duck meat
1 tb Minced shallots
1/2 c Diced apple
2 c Cooked wild rice
Up to 1 cup stock
1/2 tb Chopped fresh sage, plus extra; for garnish
Salt and pepper
Heat oil, add duck and cook, tossing, for 1 minute. Add shallots and apples and cook for 3 minutes. Add rice and stir to mix. Gradually add enough stock, a little at a time, until rice is moistened. Simmer until heated through and season with sage, salt and pepper. Served garnished with extra sage.
